mrd-ball Posted January 2 Report Share Posted January 2 I go to school in Connecticut and I would have better luck finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow than finding a decent club. I've been to all the "so-called" hottest night clubs in CT and its all a bunch of teenage ravers who drop 10 pills and do glow sticks. I figured I'd post in this forum because alot of CT heads are into the Boston scene and I was wondering if any of you knew a place that has up to date club music and good lokking women as opposed to 17 year old degenerates. I'm used to going to the Factory, Tempts, Exit, etc and hoped there was something like that in CT. If not is it worth driving 2 hours to Boston? As far as good clubs and good music good luck. I know Gothem still has after hours. But there really isnt that many places with good dj's.What school ya at? There's always traffic-inducing construction on 95, ALWAYS. Hartford, New Haven, Stamford...gotta be the ugliest cities in the Northeast, if not the US. Most redeeming qualities are the Casinos and that's it's the home state of the WWF (or WWE, whatever the fuck they are called now)....and those are hardly redeeming qualities at all.My advice, MOVE, NOW, don't even finish school, just go, while you can, before they (whoever 'they' are) fully and finally suck you into their world of non-stop roadwork. I need some decent music other that the shit that I have already. I am the authority on Club music in Connecticut I think. No DJ's (Gotham, Van Dome) know what songs I ask them to play. At least there you have a few places that are worth the stretch. Premiere,Lava Lounge and this other place called Grand( I think it's the old Art Bar. I get pretty little 15south through CT with all the pretty underpasses & no 18 wheelers - only thing I hate is that sucky wobbly metal bridge. Yup - all you can hope for is a flying car.
