Fans will be treated to his trademark "electronica" sound against a dazzling backdrop of dancers, lasers, and pyrotechnics that will be synchronized to the music. Oakenfold is quoted as saying, "I am quite excited about the opportunity to reach such a large market through an avenue that is so exciting, and so American." This year marks a vast departure from those in the past, in which audiences were presented with bands and live acts such as Aerosmith, N'Sync, and Britney Spears. You Can say he's cheesy or he sucks till we are all blue in the face but this is going to introduce tons of kids in middle america to the scene!
