My Sat nite & thoughts without Factory...

Recommended Posts

Its 8:01am Sun morning, and I wish SF was open.

Just got home from bouncing from club to club and had an OK nite, but it was not the same as hitting Factory when boredom kicked in.

I tried to amuse myself by chating with familiar heads, but the vibe was truely not Factory....kind of like a substitute teacher...it's just not the same!!!

3 weeks ago I told a few friends, I wish there was something new to go to. And there was, "FLOAT". The same nite Factory is closed... go figure. FLOAT was not to bad, actually it was pretty good. However, knowing that Factory was not an option finally made me realize that my wishes of "NEW" were simply a figment of my imagination.

This is one of those times when you don't know what you have until you've lost it.

Out of every bad, comes something good.

My good is realizing how important SF is to my boredom and NYC as a whole.

I cannot wait till Saturday... I will have that feeling of choice, security and comfort again.

wonder how many suicide attempts or thoughts were caused because of the closing of SF and Exit....wonder how many tears shed....

yeah, SF was a fun place for sure, but how many less braincells were killed and how much more sleep was had with the closing of these places....

Very True, but many of us SF heads are going through serious withdrawal...kind of like the daily/weekly routine-

Take out one vital piece, and your life's path takes a dramatic turn...

I'll be the first one rejoicing next week auuming it reopens

lol whats the dramatic turn

Imagine the stereotypical American family man:

Wakes up

Turns, sees wife in bed

Kisses wife

Goes to bathroom

Shaves

Takes shower

brushes teeth

dresses up

goes downstairs to kitchen

Wife is feeding kid, breakfast is waiting

coffee

finish, kiss wife and kid

walk out the door and go to work

Now it might be funny, but how many times do you hear about people having bad days because they didn't get their morning coffee?

That was me without the factory last night...:blank:
