We all know that they closed down, but not all of us know exactly why.

It is not only because kids off the street came in and started doing and selling drugs, na... thats not the real reason.

And its not even because it was out of hand, whch it really wasnt that out of hand, even with everyone fuked up, not everyone is dealing or doin it in public, but...

The main reasons this went down is because there are still these things called HOUSE DEALERS. And these ppl are not 100% drug dealers.. they are sometimes those who promote, work the ropes/doormen, security guards, and even sometimes those who throw the party. its sad but true.

Within the 22 month probe they had, it wasnt 100's of different undercoers goin in there, it was afew who blended in sooo well, that they started becoming friends with the bouncers, owners, etc..etc.. and sometimes yes... they would deal too. (ever wonder why they keep all the evidence???)

This is very controversial, those who know who I am know that I know a shitload of ppl in the clubs, and when I heard this happend, I almost cried, since I love Factory and have my connects at exit. oh well... we'll see what happens from here.

I totally agree. If Exit had the strictest door search, then explain the drugs still being sold in there. One night in Factory I had to buy some goods for someone and the kid that I bought it from knew that there was undercovers in there because the bouncers told him. It wasn't just the patrons of the clubs that brought it down.

Yeah, it's not like this is some big revelation though. I've seen it so many times before, especially at Exit. They'll catch a kid dealing, bring him in a stall, take all his drugs, some if not all his money, and then let him go. It's not like the kid can complain to anyone. It happens all the time, in a lot of clubs.

Oh, btw.. the kid I was referring to in Factory wasn't a random dealer. I can't confirm if he was a house dealer but he knew someone enough to tell him, I met him through a buddy of mine about a year prior to that, and when I purchased said illegals, he said that there was an undercover in the area and we needed to go to another spot to complete the transaction.

Soprano - I'd say that is BS. Holds about as much weight as the cops needing to blow their cover if asked if they are a cop.

Damage is done now...

a friend of mine is a big time dealer in exit... i must say exit is the most corupeted club out there..!! he use to pay off the bouncers to watch his back.. and to get the other dealers caught and kicked out so he could make twice the money...

I def. agree. I was in factory when my boy was getting shook down by a bouncer. The bouncer asked my friend what color shirt the person he bought the drugs off was wearin....my friend must have said the right answer b/c the bouncer left him alone...didnt take his drugs or nothin...the only thing i can assume from this is he bought off a house dealer that the bouncer was in co-hoots with and not a random.

I dont know how big time your friend was..but your story is def in line with reality.

I used to see the bigger dealers getting escorted into the club by security guards...and the shakedowns were a common place (they sucked! Lol)

I hate when these top DJs give speech's that u shouldnt do this, and shouldnt do that. ppl should already know this and we are not looking for djs to be father figures..(or mother figures :-)

especially when these saints have done it all and more, you all know what i mean.

Why don't you all just face the facts? The soundfactory is nothing more than the crackfactory. The amount of people on drugs in any given night is unprecendented compared to other venues - Exit is just as bad. These clubs should be responsible for the stuff that goes on under their roofs - they should at least be making a concerted effort to crack down on OPEN DRUG ABUSE. Give me a break, please.

u ool

Yo Everyone was constantly gropped at Exit. It wasn't outside people bringing the stuff in it was the people on the inside(dj's,people that worked there...). And its so stupid that anyone would sell to an undercover. First of all, HELLO they dressed so obvious and they spoke like robots it was obvious that they were not clubbers. They all worn black leather jackets and black clothes. And they spoke like cops. The bouncers wouldn't get people
