He once went on a 2 week long bender were all he did was free-base Drano and rail lines of Clorox powder. ~ afterwards he was diagnosed as "partially retarded" - it explains his affinity for sleep inducing progessive house. joeygk
I saw on 20/20 or Dateline - you know one of those TV news shows - that 97% of all kids raised in Summit County, Ohio and the greater Akron area know how to make Crystal Meth out of feterlizer, dish soap & empty coffee cans (the whole thing is very McGiveyer)! joeygk
i'm a downloading whore right now. my computer crashed last week and I had to have it re-formatted so I lost all my music. Luckily, a few months ago I burned all my mp3s to CD b/c my hard drive was too full.
vicman
i've been kinda *bleah* with the stuff i've DL recently. nothing has really been extraordinary.
joeygk
and the downloads are too damn slow - do you remember the 'goldenage of downloads' ----> "audiogalaxy" (RIP)
vicman
i know. i'm thinking of getting a fast connection through the phone instead of cable. of course my cable connection is split 3 ways so i dunno if that affects the dl speed.
joeygk
DSL is definately faster than cable, but not that much. The problem especially w/ Soulseek is the person you're downloading from needs to have a highspeed connection too - otherwise it's a total joke. Blubster is definately faster but you can only find really mainstream cuts, same goes for Kazza lite.
vicman
i try to DL only from people with fast connections. sometimes i get lucky and am able to DL a set from some one with a 30+ connection and, if there isnt a lot of traffic on my network, i'm able to dl a 1 hr set in 10 minutes.most of the times if some one has a set i want and has a very slow connection, i just dont bother. Werd. I just gave up on DLing the GU 25 - both discs would have taken like 19+ hours - WTF is that about?
vicman
lol.sometimes i look at the time it would take to dl stuff and just delete the file.i mean, ok if it says "1:30:02" it would be an hour and thirty minutes, but i still cant figure out when it says "2:13:45:02" ok, 2 seconds, 45 minutes, 13 hours.....wtf does the 2 mean? 2 days? 200 hours?
