Released a week or 2 go domestically? Does that mean that imports haven't been available at major US DJ stores before that time? Does that mean DJs all over America haven't played it before a week or 2 ago?...

Airfire, you need to look at the board you're posting on. A lot of people on this particular message board stay on top of new music, whether it's released domestically or internationally. You come onto this board expecting to shock people with shady producing practices everyone already knows, and tracks everybody's already heard.

What it means is that it has been out for however long and Im sure was avalible at stores in the US for a while. All I sais was that an american record label bought the US rights to the song and have now released it as a domestic.

Examples of this

Trancesetters- "Roaches" released in the UK by Hooj, Purchased domestically and released in the US by Dot Dot Dot

Kings Of Tomorrow- "Finally" released in the UK by Defected, Purchased domestically and released in the US by Atlantic

Hey man...although you are correct about many DJs buying and playing imports, you have to remember that in the big cities (especially NY and LA), this is a lot more true than in the rest of the country...furthermore, many DJs get serviced domestic cds and do not research this shit the way we do...so it takes them way longer to find out about songs...Definately not defending Airfire , just stating the the facts.

fliz and matt, you both bring up some really good points, but this airfire guy is supposed to be from NYC, and he's on this particular board. Had he taken the time out to read through some of the posts on it from the past few days he'd know better than to hype up a song (a song which I like) that practically everyone on here has known about for a very long time.

Besides, if he's on the net that means he can check out websites for record stores from America and Europe, and see that they've had certain titles in stock for months on end now. He can also do some research on Armin Van Buuren to see when he released the record commercially.

On a side note, It's cool that Radikal decided to release the record domestically, I happen to like that record label and many of the artists signed to it.
