(FYI - He was a former DJ @ Club Abyss) Police Raid Home Of "Club Cherri" DJ; More Evidence Found In Case (New York-WABC, May 9, 2003) — Early Friday morning, police raided the home of a nightclub DJ charged with sexually abusing underage girls. They say the man videotaped himself having sex with teens he met at New Jersey's "Club Cherri." See Photos From The Raid Police say the evidence against club DJ Matthew Calderone is growing. Overnight, Eyewitness News was there as police raided his home. Sources close to the case believe he videotaped himself having sex with young girls. It allegedly happened at Club Cherri in West Orange. Police busted the club last week, but this morning got a warrant and went into the DJ's home taking out computers and bags of evidence. Authorities say Calderone and Paulo Bertolo, the assistant manager, may have lured 90 or more underage girls into having sex. Some of the victims may have been as young as eleven-years-old. The club was closed down after the bust after officials said they found more than 50 fire code violations. Police say they've been flooded with calls from parents worried their daughters may have been victimized. The abuse allegedly happened during the club's weekly "teen night." In addition to the sex charges, Calderone is accused of child endangerment and witness tampering. Prosecutors say he contacted a 15-year-old girl he had sex with and other witnesses, telling them not to cooperate with investigators. velvetrope Posted May 10 Report Share Posted May 10 everyone knows ur innocent till proven guilty. but alot of people on this board know who matty c is and know who he hooks up with. he is the MC for alot of teen nights. i was just at a teen night at abyss not to long ago cause my best friend opened for john fx. and those young girls don't look to young anymore. half of them look like they have breast implants, lol. but the problem with matty is he couldn't keep his dick in his pants. and look where it as gotten him. he has gotten in trouble for this before but not as bad so it is his fault. i have nothing agaisnt him but he should have known better.
