dr. Atkins (RIP) was a sell out. He came up with this idea of no carbs and then started selling tons and tons of different products. All of which have entirely too many carbs in them for a snack.

For the purpose of being on the Atkins diet the chips have to many carbs, but they are good for someone who is watching their carbs

Agreed, but if you ever listened to him on Larry King live or other interviews, you would understand what I was talking about. He would talk about them like they were the perfect snack and as we all know, most people dieting do not have a clue how to do it. So when they see the name Dr. Atkins, they will buy them and eat away, and then wonder why their diet is not working. I can not tell you the number of people, including my mother, who came to me with the exact problem.

Don't get me wrong, he was a extremely intellegent and innovative when it came to weight loss, but like I said he was a sell out. Which is fine for most, but money should not become a factor when dealing with peoples health.

I am retired from Real Estate business, still have a real estate appraisal company.

I am now a pre-med student and will be taking the MCAT this spring. Which is what I have always wanted to do - but at one time in my life I thought money was more important.

I have always loved "Health" and fitness, first as an athelete in college and then wieght training and even some adventure racing. I have help several competitive body builders, high school atheletes, college athletes as well as just everday people who want to change there physique. I am not a personal trainer (I guess I could send some company $125 and get a peace of paper that said I was)

I don't do it for a living b/c I don't need the money. I do it b/c I enjoy helping people. The more I help the more I learn.

And besides, I like to ride rackhams ass.
