But all the electronic stuff is defenitly rooted back then. Your Africa Bambataa statement is so so true. And breaking and popping still seen today in dance club culture. New Wave has got to be one of the best genres ever invented (I just don't know how they could take themselves so seriously). But is it just me or does anyone else hate freestyle?? Not only does it have little to no musical value, but how did it officially become the theme music of juiceheads and assholes? If I'm not mistaken, freestyle was originally a latin thing, no?
