Its a multi-billion dollar industry in the US alone, add the rest of the world into it and the figures become astronomical....One guy, with a few girls, a few guys, a good location and some skills behind the camera could turn 25 large into 2 million with a bit of work... somebitch Posted September 30 Report Share Posted September 30 i dont know but i figure the pictures arent usually copywrited. you have to go through a lot of legal bs to copywright images. the person who takes the picture is the only person who can copywright the image, not the person in the picture. so if the photographer doesnt, the model cant either. it is kinda stupid. you would think the person in the pcitures should have full ownership over them. this also means if the photographer did copywright the images and someone chose to use them for whatever reason, the model wouldnt/couldnt get the profits (unless they made some kind of deal with the photographer for a percentage). i guess models get paid to be in the images, they are paid for their time and that is it. maybe if they pay someone to make the images there is a way to copywright them in your own name.
