party honoring JP?

Recommended Posts

The party is called "It's a Wrap"........so, it's a done deal. No mention on who is spinning. Since JP chose not to spin there anymore...they have to fill up the time between 11/15-12/6 with something. However, I do not think the guest of honor will show up. There's about 3 Saturdays in there to kill, right....transition period. Junior has to get assimulated.

They should do a feed the children benefit party Thanksgiving weekend. Have a showcase of d.j.'s who could try to win your ears....they still will have possible vacancy friday, right?

Bring your "wrapped" shoeboxes and take $5 or $10 off entry...and help a less fortunate child in need. (so, I like charity events) It's a good holiday Karma way to go. Buy yourself a new pair of dancing shoes....and hit the link on your shoebox project.

Kid's Stuff U.S.A. provides shoe boxes year 'round for holiday cheer, baby care, and education.

Thanks for your interest in this special outreach. Here's how to make your shoe box gift.

Find an empty shoe or boot box

Decorate the box using pens, stickers or wrapping paper. Please make sure to wrap the lid separately from the box.

Fill the box with a variety of any new gift and personal care items suggested below.

On top of EACH shoe box lid, please indicate by adhering a label: "Tiny Blessings Box", "Kid's School Days Box", or "Kid's Holiday Box".

Mark the lid for a boy or girl and indicate age category:

Baby/toddler (by months)

2-4 years

5-7 years

8-11 years

No, a holiday stunt. Everything is a publicity stunt.

Three parties honoring JP is Richard Grant's way of relaying the message of no hard feelings on the part of Sound Factory. Obviously, hard feelings on JP's part.

SF must be getting bombarded with d.j. demos of those shooting for that Friday slot.

Anyway, there will always be somewhere to go....it's NYC, people.

3 weeks of parties to honor JP what kind of shit is that Mr. Grant. I am sorry to say it but just like Exit, Arena @ Palladium Mr. Vasquez will fail, he doesnt bring in the kiddies like Jonny did. This party will be big for a few months then the Gay Tina addicts will stop going then Mr. Grant will be left like a sucker with a lump in his throat. I really hope for Jp's sake he finds a venue where he can continue the afterhours. GOOD LUCK JONNY!!!!!

Richard Grant just garunteed that his club will be open for another decade.

The heat was so high on that place from all the drug use that the cops ,dea and , fbi wanted it shut down not to mention the city.

Now with the crowd that junior brought in the city will never think of closing an all gay club. The PR backlash would be a disaster.

Besides This isnt the first time SF had an all gay night. For those of you who remember when Jp did GAy night FRI and straight night Sat. The owner always wanted this crowd.

Besides if Junior fails there is always DT ,damn imagine that shit would be ILL!!!!!

The Arena at Palladium was MASSIVE........how can you say that was a failure....it was unbelievable.

*Also, the whole afterhours crowd....i mean everyone that was at any club earlier was there gay, straight, freaks, tourists, you name they were ALL there.

There was no JP happening at that time--and that was '97, not that long ago folks.
