scruffe Posted December 17 Report Share Posted December 17 I waited in line to try pollo campero.... like 20 minutes for take out... it's actually pretty good... i like the chicken... but i still gotta say i prefer Popeye's sides... like the biscuits.... anyone else try it? what do you guys think?review: Juicy, lots of meat, good batter... my new favorite chicken in the area.Sides are ok. The biscuit i felt was dry and there wasn't anything special about the fries...Long wait right now since the place is so popular right now.Conclusion... good chicken... sides ok... long line... scruffe Posted December 18 Author Report Share Posted December 18 yeah man me too... when I'm in blacksburg i miss all that latin food... i went to JMU to DJ a dinner/party they were serving peruvian rotisserie, and yuca and platanos... oh man the platanos....i think the 3 of us went for thirds...
