Music conference begins march 6th, If you were to get here by the first, and if you are hot (Miami can be shallow), you would absolutely be able to find a job. Season goes til about mid to late april then the slow summer kicks in.

Yeah-Fuck Richard (whoever he is)!!!

Good luck

Broward vs, dade

Suburbia vs. chi-chi

Broward is where all the Nj/Ny people move too. Way too much testosterone for me. (Ft Lauderdale, etc.)

Dade is South Beach Euro//latin way more global

Alot more rstaurant/club work in Dade

don't make the mistake many make, live in broward and you can work in dade...

only 20 min drive to miami and 30 to sobe...

If you want to stick to waitressing, SoBe is the best place to live. That way you can walk to work. I never used my car when I lived there. If you want a 9-5er, my suggestion is to move to south broward and you have way more options, LESS traffic. Stay east wherever you go.

broward = normal educated people like you'd find in nj, nyc, boston tri state area etc..

dade = a foreign country...

i'm assuming you have some italian in you.... then move to broward..... it's like the north just with palm trees.

WERD! Don't make the same mistake I am in now. I have until Sept to get out of this foreign country and into civilization

Broward = too many relocated WASPs.

Dade = dangerous, dirty, and a whole lot of fun. And there's civilized neighborhoods too. Miami Lakes, Aventura, Bal Harbour, Surfside, Morningside, Design District...you get the comforts of living in Broward, without being bored out of your mind.

Only downside of Dade is the homeless, but they can be dealt with. :blown:

pod, there is much more to do in broward than dade .....

and you don't need to know spanish to do it...

i think you've been free basing those dark room chemicals again..

Darkroom? I'm a digital shooter.

I guess it has to do with how I grew up. I spent 18 years of my life stuck in WASPland, and when I saw Broward, I was like, geez, this is like where I grew up with palm trees...

I still say that if you are a cocktail waitress, stick to SoBe or Hollywood. Live close to work, cuz when you get off work at 5am you dont want to have to go very far.

sobe is dead for work... lauderdale has 50 times the amount of places to eat than miami beach...

A New York waitress? You are definitely welcome down in SoBe. We need people that know the meaning of service. You'd be able to take over anyone's job down here. SoBe waitresses are the WORST. My two cents? Shoot for the high end restaurants first.

Most people in Miami would rather that Kendall not exist...

My neighborhood isn't too bad at all. Macboy lives nearby too...you're a block from the beach and it's not too expensive and it's clean and friendly...
