nifer
i've been having to deep condition my hair almost every day recently due to the cold weather. cutting down on blow-drying/flat-ironing my hair on the weekends (or other days i dont need to be too "dressed" for work) also seems to help a bit. still though, some days i feel like just putting my hair up in a ponytail b/c all that static in my hair makes me look as if i stuck my finger in an electrical socket

cmelchor
Dab some conditioner or moisturizer on your fingers and rub only on the ends of your hair. Not too much because then it'll look greasy.

I had the same problem, but then someone told me to use static guard sheets, just rub it on the problem area. Believe or not, it does work! Believe or not, it does work! i saw a girl doing this the other day and she swore it worked... it seemed to as far as i can tell... i usually have a huge problem with staticy hair but this winter i've been using a conditioner everday and leaving it in for a few minutes, then using a spray in one after i get out of the shower... no static.
