Like jobs were you may have access to money or if the job is dangerous to you or if you have an accident dangerous to others.I happen to know that the river boat casino's here do hair tests, and I don't think you can beat a hair test. bumpdaddy Posted January 24 Report Share Posted January 24 Hair folicle analysis varies depending on what the client requests, how fast your hair grows and how frequently you trim/cut it. As far as shampoos ... they're alot like diet pills. They may have some effect but dont always work. Hair analysis work better dark hair and detects certain metabbolites better than others. Most people who buy those products are mainly pot smokers. THC metabolites aren't detected as easily in hair as cocaine and pharmaceuticals and that may explain why some of the products help. Psychemedics Corporation provides the only FDA approved test for THC metabolites and they generally give a ninety day history. They basicly analyze a 1.5 sample and assume that your hair grows .5 inch per month. There are two types of analyis and that is what makes for some confusion. The cheaper of the two is a screening. The screening only provides a pass/fail analysis that tells the employer if there has been any drug use within 90 days and its the most common analysis (in plain english...its like a test strip). This is the one that can be beat by using some product that adds mass to the hair follicle thereby diluting the sample in the same way that drinking tons of water dilutes your urine sample It's also not much more expensive than urine analysis (about $50). The second type is gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. This is the more accurate of the two and almost foolproof. It's usually only used to confirm a positive screening result since it's a more expensive analysis (about $200). This analysis will report actual levels of each metabolite found in the sample regardless of the sample mass. In reality you'll probably get the screening. If you pass that you're usually home free. entheogen808 Posted February 10 Report Share Posted February 10 the main things that all these tests go for is about the same all around. cocaine products, opiates(heroin, opium, oxy, etc), marijuana, amphetamine(meth, speed, ecstasy, etc.), and barbituates(painkillers).so, it's not so much the E that'll get ya busted, but the amphetamine that is a major component of MDMA. LSD on the other hand can be tested for, but it's hard and a lot of companies wont' pay for it, and shrooms, as far as i know are not detectable. i was in the navy for four years and learned all that i could about drug testing. this was about 3 years ago, so some of it may be innaccurate, but this is what i know. btw, the military does test for LSD, but it's only really accurate within a day or two of your dose.
