Israel was telling me how versatile Mazi is, playing a much harder set, while keeping that room jumping thru out his set. Amazing set was his description ... Can't wait either. The versatility Mazi has is hard to come by....you can see it in the way he plays and the way he produces. In fact, some of my friends from Chicago actually get upset when Mazi plays anything but straight up funky Chicago house....they say its his best sound....I tend to agree with them, but I also know that not everyone is into one certain sound and that is what is so great about Mazi.....for example one night he can play in say Orlando and totally hit em off deep and the next night come down here and blow the roof off the place with upfront tech-house. He can swing to both ends of the musical spectrum and thats what makes him so good. Its almost difficult to believe he played harder down there in South America then he did at Luna...because he was really pumpin in that little room.....but I believe it because I have even heard him spin boarding on techno, not just tech-house. Its great when a DJ can instill anticipation of whats to come and have people wondering just what the hell they are gonna hear this time.....Miami just got a tast last time....if that little place fills up like I hope it will....everyone will be in for a very rare treat!
