philippio
If you've lived in other cities, you start to realize that what Miami clubbers call a "scene" is actually a fickle, materialistic, fad-infatuated collection of dumbasses who don't know shit about music!!! This is especially true if you've lived through the days of the Paradise Garage, Twilo, Pacha Ibiza, Fabric London, The Hacienda, 1015 Folsom, Spundae, DC10, Cavo Paradiso, and the industrial/techno of Detroit (Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson) and all the other REAL nightclubs that willingly harbor underground talent from the horrific fate of the mainstream pop culture!!!That said...Miami doesn't have a scene!!! If Miami had a scene, we all wouldn't have to wait 11+ months after a WMC for the next WMC!!! We'd have more clubs to choose from and we'd be able to hear music that is less stale than progressive house... all year long!!!That said, it is worth a mention that a small number of promoters are trying their very best to change that...
