everyones entitled to their own opinion, so im not gunna bash you...but i will say this

for someone opening a club in nyc u seem like a know it all whose club isnt even off the ground yet, a bit cocky wouldnt u say? hope it doesnt come back to bite you in the ass;)

yes jp might attract a crowd that are party people, and u want to say that his party will only last 3 months? ha..we will see about that

how easily u overlook the fact that even tho sf may have had a bad rep bc of drugs, he STILL had that place packed out every weekend for years on end, and as son as he left, it died

the man deserves some respect for making sf what it was in the good days, one of the hottest afterhours in nyc

so really hun...id love to see ur "club" top sf the way it was around 97-01

n if u achieve that..then youll see me at ur place..

but till then..dont mouth off so quick and be so negative about black

I think everyone's not seeing the point he's making. First off, in the last year of SF, that place was dead except on theme party nights, Second, he's saying that club has had a bullseye on its back for years. SF was a known crackden and so was Exit. On New Year's Eve, they didn't even pat anyone down. JP is known for being a Crystal head and there were MANY people that were carried out of SF for being whacked on GHB and crystal. Now you put JP at Exit, and you don't think NYPD is licking their chops at targeting this place? Get real.

but...do u see my point? the nypd had an 18 month internal investigation for sf last yr..yup, very true...but all that evidence and what did it amount to? the club was closed for a few weeks and reopened shortly only to be the same it always was

same deal with exit...yea its a hotspot for the cops but honestly the cops cant do much..club owners know exactly how to get around getting closed bc of drugs..and also, its the patrons fault not the owners, not the djs, the people who are cracked out bc they want to be..either its in a club or in their house or wherever they chose to do their drugs. but anyway back to my point, you said sf was dead except for themes the past yr...granted it wasnt packed the way it used to be back in the day..it was NOT dead whatsoever..the vibe was dying ...because with anything, people eventually need change n get sick of the same thing over n over without breathing new life into it, and by JP opening black, i kinda see this as a new opportunity for all the sf heads that miss that family vibe to experience something different, new life into something we are already familiar with. black is hopefully going to be something old we have always loved (jp) with a new twist (the new black)....and with the door being much stricter with paris there, there will not be the dirtbags there were in sf who were underdressed looking like they rolled out of bed...a lil trendiness never hurt. and for all the haters who wanna bash and call jp a crackhead and call exit a crackden...its not exit anymore.......n i bet the ppl who are poppin sh*t and say theyd rather kill themselves then step foot in black...u will sooner or later step foot in black if the place blows up and becomes popular...
