JP pool party. I really hated space, I think the setup is poor and the crowd is the must disgusting bunch of people i have ever seen. Furthermore i want to add that ever single good looking girl i saw was from ny or nj. Where are these so called "good looking" miami people? Im confused,. Crobar was allot of fun all nights, Granted it is not as well done as crobar in nyc but i still had a great time there. I don't really have a problem with miami people, Mostly the euro trash down there. What a bunch of filthy annoying gross people. Kill them all please. Negative shit aside lotta sick times lotta sick party's but nothing came close to the excitement and the fucken insanity of the jp pool party. Nothing but monsters and Barbie dolls. The pool party killed exit nye , best party i have ever been to in my life hands down. The mix jp did of going through it fucken put me through it.

Now i know allot of you dont like me, Prob more after this post. But any of you miami locals check out the jp pool party? im just wondering what you think of that evil sound factory crowd and the sick set he dropped.

:lol3:

Loved the part about Space...

You're dead on about the people that go there and the setup and the dj's that usually spin there (except Cue cuz he rocks). Other than that, the place is all hype and zero vibe!!!

Now let me ask you... why did you pay airfare and hotel accomodations to come down to Miami to see Jonathan Peters??? I mean don't get me wrong, SF has some amazing girls (the kind Luis Puig wishes he could attract into Space). WMC is about showcasing new talent that doesn't play in your hometown on a regular basis.

:D:hat:

I don't know if I agree with you on that one Saleen... IMO, Cue plays more passionately and has a much funkier style to his mixing... BUT, I have not seen him at Space. Only Nerve, Blue and Tantra.

And I used to like Oscar back in the day... when he was introducing dark house and tribal to clubbers at the original Space. Back when Space was about the music. I still listen to Oscar's House Sessions with Ivano and I still play his Tribal America record and his Hypnotized record (with Stryke).

well at space, since i've only seen cue at space, they play exactly the same stuff, the same way..

i'm kinda wondering what the murk guys will turn out now that tribal is completly over... They are more of a tribal act to me, so maybe they have a nyc house side to them. AS for dark house, or deep house, if they produce that or play that shit, they were both put on notice, that I will jimmy superfly snunka them right in the booth..

Yeah... it's too bad that tribal house has gone the way of commercialism and cash-cow compilations... everyone and their grandma these days claim that they spin tribal  It's sickening!!!

Regarding your perception of NY house... I have never really understood how you interpret the genre...

Are you referring to Razor n' Guido, JP and Junior type stuff or NY garage and Body & Soul???

What does "jimmy superfly snunka" mean???

:D:hat:

I'm a JP convertee after his pool party.....sick sick time

when 'going through it' came on everyone started clapping with along the whole pool...you know you have a ny/nj crowd when JP's tunes get recognized

his style is very energizing, harder than regular house but still good funky house thrown in, eg. dave guetta - a lil more love was well received in the early evening
