Crobar SUCKS!!!!!!

Went to Crobar last night.....it sucked. No one knew how to dance and it was so over crowded. Should of gone to see Mauro Picotto instead

well ym ex g/f hates clubs but she loves coming with me to alot of deep house parties. So i guess it does make a differnece sometimes. And yes i wil be at roxy wearing my paradise garage shirt. As for the dancing im just having fun ive been SERVED many times lol. Partying tonite,tues,weds,thurs as an appitizer for friday.

yo bull you should show up to my gig on june 18th at this lil lounge called "second nature" . I'm Trying to set up a party there thats going to go through all different genres. Im going to be spinning house sets and my partner will be spinning trance. Bout 70 min sets each. Ill be doing deep, tech, tribal, funk, progressive house. should be pretty hot. i know the trance is not going to be your cup of tea but at least when my partner goes on you can take a rest from the dancing and have some drinks so we can all shoot the shit and talk bout how much trance blows

crobar sux on friday, and avalon has an equally if not worse crowd on saturdays.

dirty old men and girls who try to act / dress like models.

i think fri nights are gay nights cuz they appeared to represent a significant majority. i heard thursdays are better

and yes, the crowd at avalon was even more disgusting, but mauro picotto laid down some killer beats but the music at crobar sucked.

the irony is that crobar and avalon have policies on their flyers stating "no sneakers, thugwear, etc " yet they let in dirty old men who grab girls in front of their boyfriends. as usual, no guard when u need one.

exit was so much better - say what u will about exit and sf but at least the crowd was attractive (IMO) and few if any dirty old men old enough to be my great great grandparents and bouncers everywhere.

anyone who was there--- u must have seen that stuff.

oh - and they didn't play trance at crobar - it was hip hop in front and gay techno / house in the back. it was so bad I went to spirit one street parallel. now that was something else.

spirit is bringing in more talent and has a better crowd than any other club in the city right now.....IMO. went to cataneo, rivera and tomiie and nothing compares to taht place.......crobar needs to step up their game.....they got a nasty sound system but if they keep letting waxman spin its gunna sink the place (scumfrog was the only nite that was good at crobar). And avalon......they need to get someone to let people in the door with better taste cuz as you said....their crowd is fucking ugly as hellz good talent coming in.....but they seriously need to uppp the crowd in there......hopefully tiesto will be awesome

yeah i agree... crobar this friday was disgusting.. it was all dirty old men and their gold digging girlfriends/escorts.. there were absolutely no girls whatsoever.. it's a shame too bc the venue itself is pretty hot.. thank god for the hiphop room or else tht place would be absolut shit... never again am i going there..

If you are into looks only maybe spirit might be your cup of tea but I'll take the energy from the peeps at avalon over spirit anyday. I ain't no official source of whom is good and who is sucky at djing but you look at alot of the dj's spirit gets and they're good. But the people go there and stand around and look pretty. Yes the women are awesome there as I have seen first hand. But I ain't only into eyecandy. I like to enjoy myself and immerse myself into music which right now in the big club scene I have only felt at avalon.

Honestly I won't mention crobar but I have no interest in going unless someone like picotto goes because of the images of old people in a club aka Avalon last night in the beginning but that is another story!

Oh feel bad about the accident hopefully it was just a fender bender...
