Get plenty of rest, plenty of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, aminos and straight protein. Prolly wouldn't be a bad idea to up your water intake too.

This might be understood, but obvisouly don't do any movements that would use your biceps, hell, leave your whole arm out of it.

last week i had a very heavy lifting session and i did more reps than i should have...

Too many reps does not tear muscles....................bad form does.

If you're form is correct all that will happen is your muscle will fail, not tear.
