I can go so far deep inside myself, that the only thing I hear or see is the music, and I never want to come back!!! ------------------

djjoshuacarl1
thats right, there is no comparison!!!there 2 different things!when comparing and contrasting you have to take 2 forms of simular styles to compare.not jazz vs triphopits like walking up to jay-z and sayin "hey Jigga, who do you want to dj for you? Carlcox or Funk flex??"2 nasty djs, but different crowds and stylenow if you said... hey who do you want tonight...badboybill or bukem??theres a contrast and compare that works.both dance music, same crowd for the most part.this is a case of do you like hiphop or house.NOT hiphop vs house.its like givin Q-bert a crate of records and sticking him in sound factory...its a whole nother game.i well respect the "i dont like hiphop" opinion."one mans cheese is another mans meat n potatoes"-me------------------ www.djjoshuacarl.com

mikey_m
I can say that I am a bigger fan of trance than either house or hip hop.......to me, trance, whether it is progressive, hard, goa, or melodic, has a tremendous amount of strength and really hits every nerve in my body when it is on......with that said, house music is next......not commercial house but deep house like a DT or Derrick Morillo set......really moves me and is also great to dance with other people......the only hip-hop I would even consider is anything produced before 1995.......the rest is pretty much garbage in my opinion....no originality, no feeling.....repetitive.Mikey------------------"Music is life, live for the weekend....." ricfutures
I like dancing to both. Hip Hop you can really get close with someone and grind with someone. House is great cause it's so energetic. Latin house is amazing!!!!! Very energetic and you can get a lot of grinding going on. Anyone know of any great Latin House CD's? Similar to what they play at the Copa. I love that shit. ------------------Neo: You ever have that feeling where you're not sure if you're awake or still dreaming?Choi: All the time. housemusic4evr
Real House music (between 120-130bpm) you can dance, grind, whatever to... thats the beauty of it, progressive cheeze, trance commercial stuff that is 140 and higher...is well, not much you do except jump around to... Hip-hop is about one thing, atitude "the hiphop culture (talking a certain way, dressing a certain way, acting a certain way)" and when I go out, I wanna have a good time, and hang out with people who dont have an atitude. -Adam------------------House This! www.djadamf.com djadamf@aol.com

ANTONIOVILLA
Hip Hop is aighhhhhhhht, but House is the shit!.....A poem for all!The bass in the music is like ants in our pants. The way we move on the dance floor no one can match.House is the feeling that gives us the chill. It keeps us at ease almost like we're standing still. But standing still is something we won't doWe tear up the dance floor, like we have something to prove. We go as one, together, united almost like a cult.To not know what I'm talking about is surely an insult. To hear the music is like smoking crack. You're addicted just from hearing one track. If you can't relate you just don't know.It lifts you up, keeps you on your toes. With this said it's only legit. To let you know......HOUSE MUSIC IS THE SHIT!---------------------------------------------Not everone understands House MusicIt's a spiritual thing,A body thing,A soul thing!
