Nice seeing some cpers I haven't seen in a long time (bigpoppa, legend)I thought lange was just ok, nothing special. Again it could've been that I was tired and just shouldn't have been out that night. Dumonde came on and did a great job. Unfortunately after about an hour & a half I just couldn't keep my eyes open any longer - I ended up falling asleep on the speaker half way back in the room, had some weird ass dream and then jolted awake looking around trying to figure out where the hell I was lol. At that point I realized it was time to leave, and I'm pretty pissed at myself because I missed at least half of dumonde's set Did anyone see that big black dood dancing in front of the booth? He was awesome!Hell yeah!! that dude was awesome - I talked to him for a little while, he constantly had a huge smile on his face, looked like he was enjoying himself. arv105 Posted July 13 Report Share Posted July 13 All three were great, I just wish DuMonde came on a little bit earlier. I was there until around 6:30am. Shelter is a nice big space, with a decent sound system.....but they could do a better job of keeping up the place. Also, it's a shame that more people weren't there. I think the organizer of the event on the day of the sale said that the event was sold out on thier website.......but still......great night of music...and that's what counts the most The black guy in the front was awesome. Lange himself said he wasn't too pleased with it, but when you are on before Dumonde, what really can you play? I think he sayted pretty uplifting throughout his entire set and it seemed as if a lot of people enjoyed it.The venue was pretty small, but as the night progressed it filled out a little bit. I was happy it wasn't jammed in because there was plenty of room to dance.Did anyone see that big black dood dancing in front of the booth? He was awesome!Yea that was me.
