Thanks a lot for answering asap!I have been to 6 clubs so far in NYC and only one of them scanned (avalon), and 3 of the places I went to didnt even ask to see my ID (I am 19). When they do scan, the machine reads the barcode or the mag stripe on your license and displays your encoded age and if the ID is expired or not. It usually also stores the information encoded there (like address) into a database for marketing use. I am assuming you have a fake ID and thats why you are posting, so if you go to a place that scans, your ID has to be one of the following: A. a real ID of someone that looks like you B. a really good fake that scans C. a fake from either NJ, GA, or Wy because those don't scan.
