marcid21 Posted August 31 Report Share Posted August 31 what was it like? what did you do?it was beautiful. one of my favorite vacation spots without question.We did the norm, snorkeling, parasailing, jet skiing....went to the "public beach" for one day...but we weren't crazy about it there. We also went on a few local shopping excursions...then did a boat tour, and went to the highest peak on the island to watch the sunset. We went out to dinner a few times, and as far as nightlife, there is none! We managed to find a bar (( a tiki bar that was in the middle of a parking lot )) and went there two nights out of 8.There obviously isn't all that much to do...since it's all about resorts...all inclusive...yada yada. We stayed at the Wyndam Resort which was AMAZING! Beautiful grounds and one of the few resorts with it's own private beach. There were plenty of people we met that felt no need to even leave the resort.If you love the beach, and sun, and relaxation...GO! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
