nomembername Posted October 8 Report Share Posted October 8 Thought you would like to know I was chillin with Bobby V the other night at his restaurant in CT....very cool guy, easy to approach. He came in bought the entire bar a round of drinks and was putting them back the whole time during the Yankee game Wed. night....I was talking to him for a few telling him I was a big fan of his, etc. Tried to get some info out of him...I didn't want to just come out and ask if he might manage again so I basically asked him if he thought it was a step in the right direction by hiring Omar Minaya....he said, that Minaya is a good man whose definitely not afraid to be in NY or take some chances but what it comes down to now is the people he surrounds himself with (meaning who he hires)...I don't know if I should take that as, "he should hire me"?
