As a kid growing up in Michigan, I was privy to witness the 1984 Tigers produce the winner. Moving to the Twin Cities while in middle school was yeat another round or success for the hometeam, the Twins as they nailed it in 1987. After much soulsearching and an enlistment in the US Army, I was stationed in Georgia, and in 1995 we witnessed the Braves take the trophy home. Ready to utilize my newfound GIBill monies for higher education, I headed north to Massachusetts to attend College. I had no idea what a battle it would be. But I'm here.
