Is there a right way to IRON?

allllright, no one really ever taught the 'right' way to iron. I mean, I iron my shirts just enough so theres no obvious wrinkles. (they're going to get wrinkled anyway when you sit). Anyway, Is there a specific order that you should iron? Also, i heard that you're suppose to iron the insides b/c then it doesnt ruin the color on the outside?

i think i got my "technique" from my dad...

he always balls his clothes up, gets em all wrinkled... then he puts some water on it.. lets it sit for a bit.. then goes back and irons them all out..

well he only does that for shirts... but my shirts are always nicely pressed..

I learned that the correct order is to iron in the order provided below:

1-Collar

2-Sleeves

3-Back

4-Lapels (The right and left front of the shirt where the buttons are)

Hope this helps, I hate ironing. So annoying.
