I checked out Vibe and ofcourse there was no disspointment, I mean what a great dj he is. As for the asian crowd that was there...haha well,I definitely know what you guys are thinking, but don't take it as a stereotypical thing or get offended because of their ethnic background. They don't act like that because they are asian, that's their personality. The asian culture itself is a very traditional and close minded society but they are just like any one of you. Culture plays a big part. Majority of the asians at that party seemed to stick together because they probably were tourists or just came into this country, so they can't speak english very well. Some of them were giving me dirty looks as well because I was dancing like a maniac, but I just ignored it and still had a great time.When I first came into the scene, I was very shy and close minded because I was always watching my back from shadiness and from getting hurt. From experience i've gained to go out, understand the people in the scene, the music and what a party is about. Hey, I don't know about you but I was dancing to les's and vibe's set. It was fantastic! I know when I DJ everyone in the room is equal to each other including myself. No one is better or lower than one another because of class or race.There will always be assholes out there, but there are angels also, but remember it's not because of their race, ethnic or their color, it's just them as a human being. Also, one thing that someone told me which I'd like to share. George Washington one of our founding fathers of America, His father was an immigrant just like everyone else. Love you guys Everytime I went to the bar or decided to wander around a little bit to check everyone else out, I saw a sea of swaying people with dancers sprinkled in here & there. The shake dance...OMG...what the?!? Oh well, to each their own, I guess. I always say, as long as people around me are having a good time and aren't bothering me, then cool. Anyway, I ran right back to our corner where the real nuts were yo! lol... Our corner was da bomb!! Y'all held it down well...loved watching everyone with your own unique styles. And those stinkin vultures man...that was hilarious how funny they swooped in for the kill. Good thing our spot was reclaimed or I woulda shot myself…hehe… Those tribal beats! DJ Vibe was great… I really loved the material from about 3am-4:30am… couldn’t stay till the end but yeah, what a good time. IMO the bouncers shld tell that 'china man' to stop assaulting the woman violently or he's out. its profoundly disturbing & his inebriated state is not the half of it. that sick behaviour IS confoned to asians and it alters the vibe of an event. it happened at avalon too & it shld stop.yes spirit on friday looks like a no go zone. as bad as exit as bad as avalon.i believe the bouncers outside shld enforce the crowd better . meaning a dress code etc. other clubs do it- many clubs in nyc do it. either make a better crowd at spirit/avalon/exit or some of us are not gonna go there more than 2 times a year.that sex crimwe dance has to stop.
