lmack1977
So do I need to pay $150 or $175 on top of the $250 for the table plus the 2 bottle minimum? Or does $250 admit 4 and I simply pay for the bottle service on top of that?
outofthebox
Thanks for responding. I just spoke with Sheila at the club. Can you call her right now at 702.369.4998 because we think the younger girl must have mishandled your calls. Sheila wants to help you and answer any questions. Please let me know if she does. BillLe
Not sure how OPM is doing it but most clubs are doing it liek this...$150+ per person fee for the tableSome places have a table fee itself, which is considered the tip to the club host as well as tip to cocktail.4-6 person min1-2 bottle purchase requiredFor example Body English...$250 per person, 6 person min per table$500 tip/table fee2 bottle purchase requirement ($300 or so each bottle)1 bottle of Dom Perignon compTip to cockatail waitressTangerine....$1400 for up to 6 peopleThat covers admission, Tip to club hostincludes 2 bottles of liqour, your choiceFree champagne toast$2500 for up to 10 peopleThat covers admission, Tip to club hostincludes 4 bottles of liqour, your choiceFree champagne toastSo far Tangerine is the best deal. Admission is $100 and bottles are $400. If you purchase the package for the group of 6 you save $200.6 people x $100(cover) = $600Bottles x 2 = $800tip to host = $200 (that's what it shoudl be for NYE)Total = $1600For 10 people you save $300.10 people x $100(cover) = 1000bottles x 4 = $1600tip to host = $200Total = $2800Let me know if anyone is interested. I can still secure tables for NYE.
edlosangeles
Table Reservations $2504 Top Table2 bottle minimum (does not include ticket price)$3508 top Table3 bottle Minimum (does not include ticket price) Holy crap! I am not an alcoholic but I think I can drink a few. But there is no way I can have me & 3 friends drink 2 bottles of anything! But I think I can do me & 7 others drinking 3 bottles... Is that 250 per bottle?I must be a cheap-a$$ or something.
BillLe
I think what this means is...Table Reservations $2504 Top Table2 bottle minimum (does not include ticket price)Ticket price is roughly $100 per person?? So add $400 to that.$3508 top Table3 bottle Minimum (does not include ticket price)This one add $800?excuse my ignorance but what does "top table" mean ?Tangerine still seems like the better deal. The 4 person package comes out to $250(table)+$400(ticket price)+$600(average for 2 bottles)= $1250 for OPM. About $312.Also does this include tip for the host, or is that the reservation fee?Tangerine is $1400 for 6 people. About $235 per personAnd no unfortunately I don't get a rip (commision) for sending people in on NYE. So that's not why I am recommending. outofthebox
OPM's table reservations are usually 90% booked several weeks in advance and this is a NYE event. I really don't think Tangerine is a New Years spot. It's not built for DANCING. It's more of a bar. OPM will be an all out hip-hop reggae dance party with a live act who has had 4 top hip-hop tracks in 2004.
BillLe
well with their expansion it should be a bigger and betetr spot. But you're right, OPM is more of a dance club than Tangerine. Pure is going ot be insane. Not sure what the tables are there, but I was told they are booked. I think there will be th emost stars there with all the celebs who are backing that spot. outofthebox
We'll I know the folks at OPM are banking on Pure's success. It will bring 2000+ new club people into the Forum Shops each night. I'm scared to see how busy it's going to be now...

OUCH! ... but on the bottles, remember, chicks stop by your table and drink ... and stay ... and #@~ ... and drink ... so the 2 bottles goes fast for a couple of peeps. 3 bottles ... that all depends lol

About $312.Also does this include tip for the host, or is that the reservation fee?Tangerine is $1400 for 6 people. About $235 per personI can do $235 OR $312 for a good NYE party, no problem. But let me tell you my predicament. I have maybe, just maybe, one friend that will go with me and pay that amount to party all night in a Vegas hot spot. I have a hard enough time selling VIP and/or bottle service to my friends that like going to Vegas. They would rather spend the $$$ on gambling or something else. Some of them even come to Vegas loaded on cash, but they would prefer to "club hop" (like bar hopping). I don't mind this either. It's "4 top" and "8 top" tables. This basically means (in resturant lingo):4 top = a table that can seat 4 people8 top = a table that can seat 8 peopleAnd one other thing... why Godskitchen? They are from England or Switzerland or somewhere. Not that I have anything against other countries coming to the USA and opening clubs, but they seem to do it better then Americans!?!? Do we suck that bad?
outofthebox
It's not that we suck so bad, but the electronic music scene has been supported in Europe for decades now. America has always been about cheesy top 40 and now hip-hop. In general, Americans are force fed pop culture and they accept it.
danswat79
The thing about Godskitchen is they have access to booking DJ's at about 1/2 or 1/4 the price that person would charge to do a one time thing at some random club. For example, some DJ's charge 20k a night - but since Godskitchen books them for anywhere between 10 - 20 spots (minimum) per year - they get the same abig name DJ's for 5 or 10k. Some of these DJ's can't be booked by any Joe Schmoe b/c half the time they won't get their $$. Since they are a reputible and well know company, these DJ's have no problem signing multiple contracts w/ them. Basically w/out companies like Godskitchen or Spundae - you can forget about booking the big names in the house and electronic music industry
