mcdigi
Came across this book as I was doing research for a paper. Great read for anyone interested in the history of the music, the role of the DJ, the social and politcal aspects that gave rise to the underground dance movement in the city, as well as the communal nature of rippin it up in a club... Enjoy."You Better Work!" Underground Dance Music in New York CityKai Fikentscher, Wesleyan University Press, 2000.Hey, at least I dont have a boring paper topic. silverbull
ask and you shall recieve: But remember this was made from the UK aspect but is really a great represetation indeed. Dont forget MAESTRO either very important and informative as well, but the books will give you more of a history lesson than everything else.:http://www.music-101.com/images/pic...upthevolume.ram http://www.music-101.com/images/pic...pthevolume2.ram http://www.music-101.com/images/pic...pthevolume3.ram
