sotuorlando
The funny apart about it is history is bound to repeat itself and someone on some message board 30 years from now, will post the same thread about some club that we frequent now! Sapexec
The funny apart about it is history is bound to repeat itself and someone on some message board 30 years from now, will post the same thread about some club that we frequent now! I Disagree. Studio 54 was the first dance club that was celebrity driven and had maybe the toughest door policy ever in NYC late 70's). This was at the height of disco/saturday night fever club era. And coke was everywhere as well as sexual acts/nudity. For example, the doorman would say your girlfriend or boyfriend can come in, but you cant. And be serious about it. Or he would say, take off shirt and wait over there (in the winter) for 25 minutes then you can come in. Maybe you could compare that to the old "Liquid" when it first opened, but all the clubs these days (including Prive) are not that exclusive. How many of us have been at Prive, Rumi, or Bed and seen some dude with a throwback jersey on, or some shitty looking polo shirt. How exclusive is that? And the clubs are not decadent at all (courtesty of the undercover police) compared to studio 54. What would happen if you, right on your table you did two lines. Im guessing some burly dude would grab you and throw you the curb. GUIDOS UNITE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
