South Beach: Club Maddonna - Great Location, off of Lincoln. Pushy, but hot dancers. A few Russians. Scarletts: 18- 35 Minutes from South Beach. Great Lap Dances. A few skanks, good music.

I Stay in West Palm Beach every Memormial Weekend to avoid "the element" that invades sobe during that weekend. I am sure there was more then one stabbing during that weekend. You forgot the muggings, fights, etc. Seeing how the ATL has canceled their weekend, its nice that they invade Miami instead.

Actually Mid-late August is the best time to come to Miami Beach. Dont be discouraged with the heavy winds, the sudden rain storms, the demolition, destruction, and hearing the emergency broadcast message over your favourite Hip hip beats, and general lack of running water. On the positive, you probaly wont have to wait in any long lines to get in the clubs. Canadians see you in August.

NYC clubs have door policies. Look at Bungalow 8, they denied entry to Mark Cuban and his posse for some reason. There are tons of Asians at any of the clubs when famous electronica DJ's are featured. That being said if group of 6 asian dudes and 2 asian chicks tried to get into any of the lounges (Bed, etc) more then likely they would be turned away. Not because they are asian but because they are a group of dudes.

South Beach has more outdoor hot spots/lounges then NYC . Edge: Miami. South Beach has hotter women, warm weather almost the entire year, beaches 6 blocks from the clubs. Edge: Miami. South Beach seems to have more tourists in the clubs which is the only negative. Whereas NYC seems to have alot little asian hip hop wanna be gangster dudes : Edge: Miami Tourists over Bruce Li's and their nunchucks. South Beach plays trance at most Models/Bottles parties. At Butter's Models/Bottles Monday party they play cheesy hip hop. Edge: South Beach

Bottle minimums/table reservations range from 700-1500 depending on the Venue. Higher end would be Prive Fridays, Mansion Sat, and Bed Wednesdays. The Top Clubs currently are: Mansion, Prive/Opium Garden, Cafeteria. Top Lounges: Sky Bar, Bed.

Hotel: Shore Club-Raleigh- or budget Beachcomber ( all are near Lincoln/Wash) Clubs: Friday - Prive/Opium Garden Sat: Sky Bar and then Mansion Lounges: Bed/Wed Crobar/Thursdays Sunday: Raleigh Hotel -afternoons
