mp3some
The Yoruba Soul Mixes (Rapster/BBE) is an overdue collection highlighting his best remixes from the label, almost all currently unavailable on CD. If you listen closely to his superb compositions under his Yoruba guise you will hear the work of someone who understands how to craft a crossover hit and who understands his collaborators strengths. One look at his remix discography and you know you are in the company of someone with a great respect for music. Roy Ayers, Salif Keita, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Cesaria Evora, Incognito and Spacek are just some of the exceptional artists touched by the Yoruba vibe. This respect for the artist culminates in dancefloor anthems so memorable they practically redefine the definition of "The Remix". Should be a gooooood party!! .-
