About Donations of Goods for Areas Affected by the Recent Earthquake and Tsunamis

I am sure most of us have heard about the recent earthquake and tsunamis which hit south Asia. Indonesia / South Asia appeals for aid as tsunami death toll mounts to more than 100 thousand. As officials predicted the toll would rise, with unconfirmed reports of tens of thousands still missing, warnings of the secondary threat from diseases spread by contaminated water and bodies are being heard. Epidemics may accur within a few days unless they get health systems up and running. For those of you interested in aiding the people of south Asia and the volenteers from around the world which have been deployed to that region. Sacrafice a drink/bottle or two.

The World Health Organization warned today that disease in the aftermath of southern Asia's tsunami disaster could kill as many people as the deadly waves and earthquake have.

I just read that donations from people throughout the world made to the American Red Cross, Amazon and many others are starting to exceed Government donations.

Awesome !!!!!!

very comprehensive info about what happened...sometimes is better understood when read...rather than acted by the super-cynical tv reporters...god keep'em with good health...but what a bunch of bad actors (if anything)

I'm deeply amazed at the lack of emotion in the eyes of some of these reporters...journalism is definitively a dying art...

info on tsunami
