weyes Posted April 11 Report Share Posted April 11 in all my years living out here, i've only been to venice and santa monica beaches. i'm not a real beach fan. it seems to me, though, that in a general sense, beaches aren't ALL that different. the kind or size of crowd can often make the most difference. Help me ouit on this one.I was raised in Oxnard. I loved the beaches up there.Pt Mugu Naval base had some really great waves. I'd love to surf there again. Hollywood by the sea had some good waves at times.
