I also wish priest would get married, would help solve the problem of the molestations. I also can’t see how they can advise others on marriage and raising children if they don’t know how to do it themselves. Honestly, there's no way the cardinals would have elected a liberal pope right after John Paul II, many are saying that this is a transitional pope due to his late age of 78.I don't think it's fair for people to accuse him of being apart of the Nazi party. Granted he was a nazi youth, but he was sooo young. I haven'tm read up on the story nor do i have that kind of time right now but from what I believe it was against his will, and you can't fault someone so young for being apart of a group they don't fully understand.I do have my concerns with this new pope, but I think the only fair thing to do is to give him a chance and not to be so pessimistic. He joined the Hitler Youth aged 14, shortly after membership was made compulsory in 1941. He quickly won a dispensation on account of his training at a seminary. “Ratzinger was only briefly a member of the Hitler Youth and not and enthusiastic one,†concluded John Allen, his biographer.
