ok, so i have two technics, a cdj and of course, ableton. i have about 150 records, which arent nearly as many as some of you, but is still a decent amount. i feel as though i can get rid of one table, and still keep one for the occasional record, while ripping my vinyl to pc so i can use it for ableton. opinions? :)

I just did the same (sort of)... I've had a pair of 1200's since 1994 ...I just recently sold one off and bought a 2nd cdj... w/ a vinyl collection of over 3000 records its just to risky taking those priceless pieces of wax on a plane or in a club for some young punk arse wanker to nip your track out of ur box while ur not looking... I hope to have all my wax ripped to an external 160G HD (all cleaned up in Sound Forge with a little help from VST plug-ins...) by years ends...

But you can bring some vinyl when you come to Blue. Don't worry, I won't steal it! :D
