We dropped two each around 10:30, hoping to have em hit us by midnight. Midnight came and went without us feeling anything. Starting to feel disappointed, we figured maybe we didn't feel anything because we had a big dinner too close to dropping the pills. So, we dropped two more each and waited. Still nothing. Oh, well...bring on the booze!The next night, we made sure we didn't eat too much and dropped three pills each. After an hour and a half, nothing. This is when we found out the true power of denial. We figured that maybe the pills are just "really weak" because they're old. So, we swallowed another four each and headed out. We had quite a long walk from our hotel at the southern end of SoBe to Shadow. As we were walking, unwilling to admit to ourselves that the X was fake, we started to convince ourselves that we were feeling the E.We were hyping ourselves up as we walked. The day before, we walked around so much that our feet were all torn up. Suddenly, we noticed that our feet didn't hurt anymore and our legs weren't so sore. Must be the X, we thought.Two hours later inside Shadow, we had to finally admit to ourselves that it was the placebo effect. The pills were probably aspirin, which would acount for our legs not hurting (funny, my headache went away also).
