I'm a firm believer in vinyl and turntablism (I wish more djs relied on vinyl and the good ole mixer instead of CDJs and all sorts of push-button gadgetry) and I could listen to hip-hop all night so long as it's not that over-saturated uber-commercial garbage that's on every radio station across the country! I'm just saying you should be a bit more realistic about your promoting habits. Let's face it, not many people (who see your flyer in Boston or New Jersey the day before your event) will be willing or able to fly 2,000 miles at a moment's notice to attend your party. Maybe there are just a few, but in my opinion, you should either focus on local Las Vegas music messageboards or just print flyers and do viral marketing (word of mouth).
