*lol* If stuff here disappears...im just moving sooner than planned. FUCK hurricanes. 26 years of dealing with them and the sweltering heat, mosquitoes, snowbirds, geriatric people behind the wheel, insane traffic with no other option for transportation......

I'll gladly trade it for some snow and call it a day.

Pffttt.....whateva. Im the one that was wearing a t-shirt and thin leather jacket while everyone else was wearing down jackets and scarves a week ago in 50 degree weather!

*lol* Actually, with as many times as we get hit by hurricanes, our houses for the most part stand up pretty damn well. FL has the strictest building codes in the country...had Katrina hit us instead of the N.O. area, we wouldnt have had nearly as much damage simply because our structures are built to withstand the weather.

Last year my area got hit by 4 hurricanes in the space of 3 weeks. ZERO damage, the shitty part was all the power lines down, no traffic lights and trees down.
