macillus Posted January 13 Report Share Posted January 13 I have a pioneer DJM 500 and have played on numerous 600's and 3000's. I have notice this to be the problem with every single one. I would chalk it up as an unexplained fault with the pioneer mixers. Still great mixers but have yet to find a reason/solution to this. The q-tip and some contact cleaner or alcohol and clean the inside pins ir use the eraser of a # 2 pencil and spin it inside the arm pins. This will remove any rust, gunk or other decay from the pins. Trust me, I have to do this every weekend @ the clubB.
