fastfast
amazing how these guys get away with charging such astronomical prices and only spin for 3 or 4 hours, if you love music, and your fans and making them happy, wouldn't you want to keep playing ??IMO it keeps them from really showing how good/bad they are, cuase they go on for these short sets and play all their weapons, and be done with it, not to hard in my eyesnot that I think a 15 hr set is the way (or requirement) to show your good , but it's alot harder to play longer then just these mini sets plus give the fans what they are paying for
brucejuice
Last time I heard Tiesto was at AC in August, and he also spun for like 3 hours. At the end, ppl asked for an encore, for him to play like 1 more song... and surprisingly he didn't and just pissed everyone off. Everyone said that he used to do it all the time... now he's got this big head and thinks he's too good to give his fans 1 more song. From what I remember, his set was good. I just hope this time, he's not an ass again.

vsoto212
Understand one thing for those that ask why these djs get paid so much. Once your rated in the top 10 in the world thats when the dj value goes up. So for clubs to pay these djs that amount I guess it is worth it cause its packs the house. Geting a dj thats ranked a lot lower wont pack a venue. The facts are there.Victor Soto

sidoolongo
Sounds like throtling supply to inflate perceived value. cf diamond market, Cristal, etc.Or maybe he just doesn't like NY crowds.
