computerjockey Posted April 7 Report Share Posted April 7 I live in NYC, probably movin to Miami in the next week or two, and lookin kinda forward to it - that recent int'l DJ poll had Miami as the only US city in the top 10 and was mentioned again before NYC was even listed.Would anyone elaborate on what's making Miami the love of DJ's? What kind of music is happening there? I'm really into electro right now and am looking forward to checking out the music if I move.Check out my MySpace page and hit me up if you go out and find my page interesting at all... digitalphoenix Posted April 9 Report Share Posted April 9 Considering the blend of cultures downhere and the fact that import and export of music is hot...it's all about the hot bitches and DJ whores Nah but really, it's because the acceptance of different styles of music.You can go to Las Vegas and even though they got decent clubs, it's all comercialized shit. Same goes for L.A. Havent been to NYC in a long time so I couldnt tell ya if they're into pots and pans like JP & Boris still or what...
