Two Questions About Vegas Clubbing This Weekend....

Ok, I have two questions before I head off Saturday to Vegas for a week long conference and have the weekend to party since I don't need to be at the conference until 4pm Monday...

1. Empire Ballroom - for Saturday/Sunday morning - good time to get there is about 3:30-4am right? Was thinking of going to this instead of the big casino clubs like Tao, Light, etc.

2. Anyone every been to the Beatles Revolution Lounge at the Mirage? Nick Warren is there Sunday night and I was thinking about going to that? Any opinions of that place?

Anyone know of any other good stuff for Saturday night - any djs in town worth seeing? I didn't see anything really thus far...

Thanks for any help!!!

1. Empire - yep. (Hella better than Light omg lol). No door drama and their guestlist is a line pass.

2. RL - one of its midweek dj's posts here. Theyve been booking a lotta talent I like including Richard Vission. Good spot. Id stop by but not plan your whole night around it. At worse, if you are doing RL go to Seamless later as a backup.

Since it sounds like you're into house music, you can't go wrong with Empire if you like the DJs they have lined up. For post-3AM house I personally prefer the more intimate atmosphere at Drai's, but I've had more than a few incredible nights at Empire. If you're going out two nights, I'd recommend doing both -- hit Empire late Saturday (i.e. Sunday morning), and Drai's late Sunday (i.e. Monday morning).

Unfortunately I can't comment on the Revolution Lounge, but I think Nick Warren makes for a damn good reason to go. House options on Sunday are very limited, so it should be a good crowd. If nothing else it'd be a great warmup for Drai's.

Thanks for the info...a few more questions...

1. Where's the guestlist sign-up for Empire...is it worth signing up on...line that long at 4am?

2. I know RL is kind of small (400 capacity?)...gotta get really dressed up for that place? Really like Nick Warren so def. hittin' it up.

1. And the person from Empire who posts here is super coo. I'll get it to you in when im back online in a few hours. I get there early like 3:30 ish and get lined pass on the guestlist. No drama door, super super kind staff.

2. Dunno. Defin not anymore than any other spot.

send a RSVP to the email below for the guest list for Nick Warren. not sure if there is a cover but this should help get you in the door. dress the part and it should not be an issue.

I'm not walkin' in with baggy jeans and sneaks. but plan on wearing a short sleeve button up and jeans - is that fine for there?

obviously that's the doorman's discretion but i don't think on a sunday it should be too big of a problem.

Provided you've got a decent pair of shoes (read: not gym kicks), then your outfit would not be a problem at any spot in town.
