danceshake01
Anyone have the dish about why djs didn't want to play there on Friday nights or even Saturday nights also why it went out of business, if all is true ?
mfiorellino
I have no idea what's going on with that place but it wouldn't surprise me if it shut down. It was only open on Saturdays and catered to the gay crowd. If you want to stay profitable you better do killer business that one night or get more events going. I went there during the Winter Music Conference and the sound system was killer, too bad they couldn't book any DJ's during the rest of the year. philippio
Personally, I don't think they promoted enough. Also, from a marketing perspective, brand loyalty is crucial, especially in a materialistic city like Miami. Anyone who went to Twilo a few times and who had also lived the days of the original Twilo in NYC, might be disappointed. The owners may have been more successful if they steered clear of the Twilo name. It's not like there is a shortage of available names or something.
