avoid serato using fake dj's

In the KRS-ONE video on your page, the sausage party was captured perfectly - I couldn't find even one female in that video. So yeah if you're looking to party with 100% dudes to the music of an MC who celebrates the 911 attacks, you've got your spot. On the other hand if you're willing to put up with "wack" Serato djs like Kid Capri in a party filled with hot drunk chicks, you have other options.

Actually, choosing to use Rane's Serato has nothing to do with a dj's ability/talent to beatmatch tracks. It only extends his/her track selection. I am not one to advocate downloading mp3's for free (I buy vinyl as much as I can) and about 85% of my CDs are purchased originals.

I would buy Serato because it does not detract from the tactile nature of spinning records. The music genre is pretty much irrelevant here. I would imagine that for scratching and cutting, you'd want a shitload of RAM on the laptop but the basic function and purpose of Rane's concoction is fairly straightforward and quite ingenious.

At the end of the day, regardless of the party, if you can't spin records, then you can't use Serato. :D
