Guest pod
His hazing period is over, he handled his first CJ party in a first rate fashion. ;D Next week we'll have a kegger in his honor. 8)

Guest LeVeL
Congratulations Eric, I wish the best in you progressing future. One question to the owners and moderators of Cooljunkie what can I do to be a Cool Junkie employee.............I for one go clubbing to the hottest clubs in South Florida week in and week out........and I take pictures too....I believe I can Translate a different view of what a regular clubnight might become to others. What can a fellow CoolJunkie do to fill out that Application....?????? Guest AlanS
Congrats Eric. One suggestion (or request, however you care to read it) for the new recruit and CJ crew...add functionality to view the galleries as slideshows. This would really enhance the whole gallery browsing experience.
Kamikaze1414779018
Well I can't take too much credit for getting the pictures posted quicker, I just take them and edit them for now. Also as the slide show goes, it is a good idea and will take a look into it, but also  do not want to jeporidize "click throughs" , if you know what I mean.and CrazyC, .... Milk does a body good. ;D
Guest pod
Slideshows get a negative reaction from what I have seen...most people like the thumbnail view.
Guest AlanS
Interesting. I like clicking a single slideshow button, sitting back, and watching the whole gallery - 2 or 3 seconds of each pic - rather than clicking a gazillion times to view all the pictures. Call me lazy, but I pass a lot of em up because I get tired of clicking at em. Anyway, just an idea...
Guest coach
Actually, rather than an automated slideshow, what I prefer is "Next" and "Prev" buttons under the pictures, so I don't have to keep closing and re-opening.
Guest endymion
I'm the guy who has to make all of this actually happen, and I can literally do anything that any of you imagine. I always include slideshows in my porn sites for reasons that are hopefully obvious, and I was planning on including it in the new automated CoolJunkie galleries. Suggestions from you guys on how you want things to look are more than welcome, please keep them coming. I try to monitor these forums for things like this, but if people start talking about their fantasies for new software features and I miss it, somebody please shoot me an email or something to let me know that I need to take a look.Current plan for the gallery works like this: the default view for the gallery will be a thumbnail page, just like usual. Thumbnails will be generated automatically when necessary, more preferably generated by the photographer or a photography editor. Image links from the thumbnail page do one of two things, either a pop-up or a separate one-image page. I'm strongly in favor of a seperate one-image page because I'm allergic to pop-ups, Nick likes pop-ups. The solution is to give members the option. This is all standard and boring.Slideshow will be an option from the thumbnail page that you can select if you like. My current thinking is that the slideshow can rely on frames and JavaScript since the thumbnail page is acceptable for users on cell phones and thin clients. If I can use frames and JavaScript for the slideshow then I want the slideshow to break out into two frames, a smallish bottom frame with a time-per-slide setting and a loop setting, and information about the current slide show and navigation back to the main site. Please let me know if anybody has any strong opinions about this one way or another. Also, if anybody has any opinions on the pop-up issue, please speak up. One thing that we discovered last Friday at Level is that the current CoolJunkie site isn't fully functional from the PDA browser that we were playing with because the image galleries depend on pop-ups, and that browser didn't do pop-ups. We got the thumbnail pages but nothing else. I really don't like that because more and more of you are going to be cruising our site from cell phones in the near future.Either way, keep the suggestions flowing. Our goal is to provide you guys with something that you want, not something that we want you to want. Tell us what you want and we will make it happen.
