The first time I saw Pearl Jam perform was at the MTV VMA 92, and I gotta tell you, I have never been so impressed with any other band's stage presence as I was on that night. that night they won a fan for life. Guest LeVeL
I love the whole album Ten by Pearl Jam........I can listen to it over and over. but the song that stands out for me is Black an Evenflow. They do it for me!!
Guest ddg
the day after my sis got married..she skydived with her husband...they videotaped it and the song that played all during it was black...couldnt have captured it any better...when i think of evenflow all i do is remember the video when eddie climbs up the drapes and then stage dives right when they start jamming again...he did that when he came to ft lauderdale like almost 9 years ago i guess..climbed the drapes...but no stage dive.... V. Barbarino
comparing Nirvana to led zepplin is nutssssssyou rarely hear nirvana, but it's hard to go a week without hearing zepplin.. The #1 requested track of all time is????????????Led Zepplin - Stairway to heven..Satisfaction is regarded as the greatest rock track of all time..But don't ever get caught up with your hs grundge phase. Led Zepplin is not in the same catagory as nirvana..
Guest ddg
. Led Zepplin is not in the same catagory as nirvana..no...zeppelin is the father of nirvana imo(pretty much the father of all the music i love) you can call it a hs grunge phase....which i was in high school when they all came out...but i just like to call it good music
Guest LeVeL
Nirvana is the whole reason why Rock is like this now in days. If Nirvana wouldn't not saved rock music from those hair spray bands like Bon Jovi, Poison, Skid Row...then rock scene would of been ruined forever. So people who love Rock have a lot to be thankful for when it comes to Nirvana. they were like a breeze of fresh air when they entered the rock scene. So yeah Led Zepellin is legenderay just like Nirvana will always be. And to tell you the truth their are many that consider Nirvana the most influencial band next to the Beatles.
Guest endymion
I'm gonna have to agree with Saleen all the way on this one. Led Zeppelin's untitled album from 1971 is the shit. The one with Stairway to Heaven. Historic and brilliant.Best album ever made: The Beatles, The White AlbumClose runner up: Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the MoonThose are all from before my time but these are the ones that stood out the most to me from my dad's album collection when I was younger. I can't say that I've ever seen anything in the same class as these ever since. NiN, Pretty Hate Machine comes close.
Guest JMT
listening to some people here talk about rock is like nails on a chalkboard!
