This mix is unbelievable. I never thought I'd like a live mix but the crowd just enhances it. When played loud enough, you'll feel like you are right there. It's the same vibe as listening to a Dead recording of a show you'd seen. You are transported. I recognize many of the songs in the mix but many I don't and they all flow amazingly well. I can't say it sounds dated because whenever I play it, it alters whatever it is I'm doing. It remains fresh. It's definitely trance inducing but in a way only Oakenfold can do. No cheesy theatrics and no excess. This is by far one of the best mixes, hands down, ever recorded. I've never been to a live show of his but the energy just radiates through this recording. Come to think of it, this may have been techno as we know it at its peak, before it really splintered and was labeled in a million different ways.
